True… on paper. In reality? Liquidity is a leash. And guess who’s holding it. 😈

The Brutal Truths (no sugar, just salt)

1. Liquidity = Control.
   The more a market maker “provides,” the more they own the book, throttle the queue, and decide who gets filled and how. Not illegal—just physics of microstructure.

2. Order flow isn’t neutral.
   Flow is ranked, rerouted, internalized, last-looked, and repriced in microseconds. If you don’t see it, it still happened—ahead of you.

3. The tape lies by omission.
   Quotes flicker, get canceled, re-posted higher in the queue. Liquidity mirage: it’s there—until you hit it. Then it’s gone.

4. Price impact is manufactured.
   Nudge the book, layer the queue, absorb the aggressive flow, then release. They don’t chase price—they choreograph it.

5. Your broker’s interests ≠ yours.
   Retail orders are “handled.” “Best execution” often means best economics for someone else. Read that again.

6. Speed is strategy.
   Not just faster trades—faster information: queue position, imbalance, hidden depth, cancel/replace cadence.
   Your edge dies in milliseconds.

7. Charts are the aftermath.
   Candle patterns? After-the-fact art. The cause is in the order book. Miss the book, miss the move.

If you’re still trading with delayed, filtered, “retail-friendly” feeds, you’re volunteering to be the other side.
