I just released a new tool for MetaTrader 5: NEXUS_DOM_HEATMAP_MT5

I just released a new tool for MetaTrader 5:

NEXUS_DOM_HEATMAP_MT5

This one is very personal for me, because it comes from a very simple frustration:

MT5 is used by a huge number of traders, especially in futures, CFD, forex, prop firm and broker-based environments.

But when it comes to real orderflow visualization, DOM liquidity, market depth, absorption, pulling, stacking, footprint logic, and live executed volume, MT5 usually feels limited.

You often have candles.
You may have a basic DOM panel.
You may have some volume tools.

But you do not really get a complete visual orderflow cockpit directly inside the chart.

That is exactly what I wanted to build.

NEXUS_DOM_HEATMAP_MT5 is a native MetaTrader 5 indicator designed to bring a real DOM / orderbook heatmap directly onto your MT5 chart.

The goal is not to create a “magic signal” indicator.

The goal is much more practical:

To help traders see liquidity.
To help traders read where passive orders are sitting.
To help traders understand where volume is actually trading.
To help traders detect absorption zones.
To help traders see pulling and stacking behavior.
To help traders stop looking only at candles and start reading the market structure behind price.

Because price alone is the final print.

Orderflow is the mechanism behind the print.

With this tool, the MT5 chart becomes much more than a chart.

It becomes a live orderflow surface.

You can visualize:

• Bid and ask liquidity
• DOM Level 2 depth
• Orderbook heatmap zones
• Trade bubbles
• Executed volume
• Absorption labels
• Pulling and stacking behavior
• Disappearing liquidity / pulled walls
• Footprint-style information
• Volume profile / delta profile context
• Best bid, best ask and mid-price
• Imbalance pressure
• Microscope / loupe view
• Split-view execution workspace
• Highly customizable rendering settings

The microscope mode is one of the parts I like the most.

MT5 has a native zoom limit. Once you reach it, you cannot really zoom further into the chart.

So instead of fighting MT5, I built a custom microscope rendering mode inside the indicator.

That means you can inspect the recent orderflow activity more precisely, with a dedicated zoom layer that is not limited in the same way as the normal MT5 chart.

For scalpers, futures traders and short-term orderflow traders, this is extremely useful.

You can keep your normal chart context, while also having a focused execution view where the active DOM, trades, absorption and liquidity behavior are easier to read.

Another important part is customization.

This tool is not designed as a fixed “one-size-fits-all” visual overlay.

Every trader has a different workflow.

Some want a very clean chart.
Some want a dense execution cockpit.
Some want aggressive colors.
Some want subtle transparency.
Some want only absorption and trade bubbles.
Some want the full DOM surface, footprint and profile layers.

So the indicator includes a deep settings system.

You can customize the visual appearance, heatmap intensity, transparency, colors, volume thresholds, trade bubbles, absorption behavior, pulling and stacking display, microscope view, footprint rendering, profile logic, labels, grid, scaling, update speed and many other parameters.

In other words:

You can adapt it to your instrument, your broker feed, your screen size, your trading style and your own eyes.

That matters.

A tool used for fast market reading must feel natural to the trader using it.

The indicator is especially relevant for traders using MT5 with real DOM / Level 2 access.

For example:

• Futures traders using CQG / Rithmic-style data through MT5 brokers
• Ava Futures / AvaTrade Futures users
• Traders watching ES, NQ, FDAX, CL, GC or other futures symbols
• MT5 traders who want deeper market depth visibility
• Orderflow traders who want to combine price, depth and volume on one chart
• Scalpers who need to see liquidity shifts quickly
• Traders who already understand that candles alone are not enough

This tool is also connected to the broader MetaQuantUniverse ecosystem.

3D NEXUS META is my flagship orderflow platform.

NEXUS_DOM_HEATMAP_MT5 is the native MT5 counterpart.

It brings part of that orderflow philosophy directly into MetaTrader 5, for traders who want to stay inside their MT5 environment but still access a much more advanced visualization layer.

There are several access options available.

The advanced version includes the full MQL5 source code.

That is important for developers, advanced traders, and people who want to inspect, customize or extend the logic further.

The simpler versions are delivered as indicator packages without source code.

And for 3D NEXUS META Lifetime users, there is also a dedicated free access option.

I built this because I genuinely believe MT5 traders deserve better orderflow tools.

Not another moving average.
Not another lagging signal.
Not another colorful repainting toy.

A real visual layer for liquidity, executed volume and DOM behavior.

A tool that helps you observe what the market is doing underneath the candles.

Of course, this is not financial advice.
It does not guarantee results.
It does not replace risk management, experience or discipline.

But if you already trade with MT5 and you care about market depth, orderflow, liquidity and execution context, I think this can be a serious upgrade to your workflow.

You can see the full landing page, screenshots, feature breakdown and access options here:

https://metaquantuniverse.com/nexus_dom_heatmap_mt5.html

This is the first version of what I believe can become one of the most complete native MT5 orderflow visualization tools available.

And as always, I’ll keep improving it.
