3D_NEXUS_META now supports CQG WebAPI through a brand-new local bridge
3D_NEXUS_META now supports CQG WebAPI through a brand-new local bridge
We are happy to announce a major new step for 3D_NEXUS_META.
A brand-new CQG WebAPI Bridge has now been completed, tested, and validated.
This new bridge allows 3D_NEXUS_META to connect to CQG market data through a cleaner, more direct, and more professional pipeline, bringing a new level of quality to futures order flow visualization inside the NEXUS 3D cockpit.
For traders using CQG-compatible accounts, this opens a powerful new data route:
CQG WebAPI → Local CQG Bridge → 3D_NEXUS_META
The result is simple but extremely important:
-
more direct access to CQG market data
-
deeper Depth of Market visibility
-
smoother Level 2 updates
-
more fluid order book rendering
-
more updates per second
-
cleaner Tape activity
-
better futures order flow readability
-
fully integrated CQG connectivity inside NEXUS
This is not just another small connector.
This is a serious upgrade to the way 3D_NEXUS_META can receive, normalize, and display professional futures market data.
Why this matters
3D_NEXUS_META was built to make order flow visible in a completely different way.
Instead of looking at a flat DOM, a classic Tape, or a standard heatmap, NEXUS transforms the market into a real-time 3D environment where liquidity, trades, aggressive volume, price movement, and market depth can be read together.
But the quality of the visualization always depends on the quality of the feed.
The better the data, the better the cockpit.
That is why this CQG WebAPI bridge is important.
CQG is widely used in the futures world. It is known for professional market connectivity, futures market access, and high-quality Depth of Market data depending on the user’s broker, exchange permissions, and market data subscriptions.
By connecting NEXUS to CQG WebAPI, we open a much cleaner path for futures traders who want to read liquidity and order flow directly inside the 3D_NEXUS_META environment.
What has been validated
The DATA / READ side has been tested successfully.
Inside NEXUS, the CQG bridge now feeds:
-
live liquidity into the 3D map
-
volume into the Tape
-
Depth of Market updates
-
bid/ask structure
-
trade activity
-
market movement
-
order flow events
The bridge is working correctly and the flow is smooth.
Liquidity appears directly inside the 3D map.
Volumes print correctly inside the Tape.
The order book updates in real time.
The 3D environment reacts as expected.
This is exactly what we wanted.
A more direct, more fluid, more professional futures data connection for 3D_NEXUS_META.
Technical overview
The bridge acts as a local real-time translator between CQG WebAPI and NEXUS.
CQG sends market data through its WebAPI layer.
The local bridge receives the book and trade updates.
The bridge normalizes the incoming data.
Then it streams clean JSON messages to 3D_NEXUS_META through a local WebSocket connection.
In practice, the pipeline looks like this:
CQG WebAPI → CQG Local Bridge → 3D_NEXUS_META online platform
The bridge handles the local data translation and NEXUS focuses on what it does best: rendering the market as a live 3D order flow environment.
This approach keeps the system simple for the user.
The user does not need to modify the NEXUS code.
The user does not need to manually edit complex configuration files.
The user does not need to install a heavy platform around it.
The bridge runs locally.
NEXUS remains online.
The connection is made through the local bridge.
Simple user workflow
The new CQG bridge has been designed to be easy to use.
The user launches the bridge, enters their CQG credentials, clicks START, opens the online NEXUS platform, selects CQG Futures, and the data starts flowing.
The process is:
-
Download the CQG NEXUS Bridge
-
Install the required Python dependencies
-
Launch the bridge
-
Enter CQG credentials
-
Click START
-
Open 3D_NEXUS_META online
-
Select CQG Futures
-
Read the market inside the 3D cockpit
No complicated manual setup.
No heavy configuration.
No hidden technical maze.
Just credentials, START, and NEXUS.

This bridge is available now for all 3D_NEXUS_META members.
Important note about CQG permissions
The bridge is ready on the NEXUS side, but the user’s CQG account must have the correct permissions enabled.
To use the bridge in live mode, the CQG account should have the required CQG WebAPI access and the appropriate market data permissions from the broker or CQG provider.
Depending on the account, this may include:
-
CQG WebAPI access
-
futures market data permission
-
Level 1 data
-
Level 2 / Depth of Market data
-
exchange subscriptions such as CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX, EUREX, depending on the instruments used
If the user’s account does not have the required permissions, the bridge cannot magically unlock data that the account is not authorized to receive.
But once the CQG account is correctly enabled, NEXUS is now ready to receive and display the flow.
Why this is a big step for NEXUS
This new bridge brings 3D_NEXUS_META closer to a true professional futures order flow environment.
The goal of NEXUS has always been to make the hidden structure of the market more readable:
-
where liquidity is stacked
-
where aggressive volume hits
-
where the book absorbs
-
where liquidity disappears
-
where price is being pushed
-
where traps may be forming
-
where the real order flow pressure appears
With the CQG WebAPI bridge, that vision becomes stronger.
More depth.
More precision.
More fluidity.
More professional data.
More serious order flow reading.
This is a new level for the platform.
3D_NEXUS_META keeps evolving
3D_NEXUS_META is not just a static trading tool.
It is evolving into a multi-feed, multi-market, professional order flow cockpit.
The platform already explores advanced visual market reading through:
-
3D order book visualization
-
volume bubbles
-
Tape activity
-
Depth of Market rendering
-
liquidity structures
-
footprint-style analysis
-
futures and crypto connectivity
-
bridge-based data architecture
-
advanced market microstructure visualization
The new CQG bridge adds another major piece to this ecosystem.
It gives NEXUS a stronger connection to the futures world and opens the door to cleaner institutional-grade data workflows for traders who want to go deeper into market structure.
