It's quite problematic for an ecosystem which key point is to be decentralized, isn’t it?
Let’s take Ethereum, for example:
49.2% of all nodes are hosted in data centers and out of these 49%…
63% are supported by three major cloud providers: Amazon, Etzner, and OVH.

Amazon therefore has an effective share of 22.33% of Ethereum nodes in the network.
That could potentially be turned off ina few minutes
Could you imagine what would happen if 1/5 of the Ethereum nodes were turned off?
Decentralized cloud computing projects such as Cudos of Matt Hawkins are aiming to make these blockchains more secure and harder to shut down through their decentralized infrastructure.
