The Universal Profile has gone live on the LUKSO Mainnet, enabling everyone to swiftly create the future standard for accounts, effortlessly and without technical expertise.

3⃣ Finalization of Key LUKSO Standard Proposals (LSPs) :

🔸LSP0 : The foundational standard for the LUKSO ecosystem, establishing the structure for LUKSO Universal Profiles.

🔸LSP1 : A standard for identifying and interacting with Universal Profiles on the LUKSO blockchain.

🔸LSP2 : A data standard for structuring and storing key-value pairs in LUKSO Universal Profiles.

🔸LSP6 : A permission standard for controlling access on the LUKSO blockchain.

🔸LSP7 : A token standard for fungible assets on the LUKSO blockchain, akin to ERC20 but with enhanced features.

🔸LSP8 : A standard for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on LUKSO, similar to ERC721 but with additional functionalities.

As a Universal Profile user, you don't need to own any LYX, as the LUKSO foundation covers the transaction fees for you.

The best part is that the team doesn't operate a single validator, and the Staking solutions for the masses do a great job at keeping the network decentralized.

This year, LUKSO held over 20 talks and events globally, where LUKSO's vision has been shared with many qualified and influential people in the space.

The migration from Ethereum to the LUKSO mainnet happened through a LUKSO bridge, which will remain operational for 4 more years from its launch, allowing you to bridge your LYXe to LYX at a 1:1 ratio.

8⃣ Build UP#2

To date, the largest hackathon hosted by LUKSO, with a cash prize of over 250k+ euros.

A total of 437 developers participated, representing more than 68 countries, and 70 projects were submitted. Eight winners were chosen, all of which are dApps that will likely have a significant impact on the future of LUKSO.

2023 was a landmark year for LUKSO, but as you can see, LUKSO is now ready to make its mark on the world.
